Nghề BA có nhiều hướng phát triển. Dưới đây là lộ trình phổ biến nhất.

Level 1: Junior BA (0-2 năm)

Responsibilities:

• Support senior BA trong việc gather requirements • Document meeting notes • Maintain documentation • Learn domain knowledge

Skills cần có: Communication, Documentation, Basic SQL, Tool proficiency (Jira, Confluence).

Level 2: BA (2-4 năm)

Responsibilities:

• Independently handle medium-sized projects • Lead requirements workshops • Write BRD, FRD, User Stories • Conduct UAT

Skills cần có: Stakeholder Management, Process Modeling (BPMN), Agile/Scrum, Domain Expertise.

Level 3: Senior BA (4-7 năm)

Responsibilities:

• Lead complex, cross-functional projects • Mentor junior BAs • Contribute to process improvements • Handle difficult stakeholders

Skills cần có: Leadership, Negotiation, Strategic Thinking, Multiple Domain Expertise.

Level 4: Lead BA / BA Manager (7+ năm)

Responsibilities:

• Manage BA team • Define BA standards và best practices • Resource allocation • Stakeholder at C-level
